Unplug. Unwind. Reset.

Updated: Apr 12

I’ll keep it 100 with you all, I’ve absolutely no idea what to write about for this blog post.

You know, sometimes you just are uninspired. Don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of absolutely wonderful things that have been happening these past few months that I could expand on. For instance, I just moved into my new apartment and Emily and myself finally embarked on expanding our network. Of course, both of these things came with some challenges, but nothing we couldn’t as a team maneuver through.

I guess the point of this blog is that sometimes you just don’t feel the creative pull to discuss the things that you’re currently living through because you’re doing just that. You’re living within the moments as they’re happening.

I think social media has a tendency to make us believe that we always need to be pumping out some sort of work or creative venture to share with the internet. But we’re human beings. While the Internet is designed to be on 24-7…humans are not. So sometimes you only have the capacity to get out of bed and go through the motions to live. Documenting all of that starts to become very insignificant on the list of things you feel give your day-to-day meaning. It doesn’t mean that they’re not important enough to share, but maybe they’re just not something you able to share in that moment.

This post is very random today but that’s just kind of how the last few weeks have been. A culmination of random days and various moments of time that are being experienced in the here and now and processed in my own way instead of immediately jumping on the social media train to document it.

Because despite with social media will have you believe: just because you didn’t post about it doesn’t mean that it didn’t happen.

So take some time today to step away from the phone or the computer and find some personal moments that are just for you right here right now.

Much Love Always,

Your Cycle Half Stephanie
